From New York to Los Angeles Developed exclusively for Palm in association with Metrocommute, Traffic for Treo Smartphones is an application that shows traffic alerts for 12 metropolitan areas, from New York to Los Angeles, on a navigatable map with traffic alerts downloaded wirelessly onto your Treo whenever you need them The application receives feeds from local Departments of Transportation to utililize sensor and incident data. In addition, the traffic information is supplemented with cameras at major choke points, for example bridge crossings, to ensure that the traffic data is of high quality.

The service provides a picture of traffic conditions across the UK with 5 levels of zoom, available so that users can view specific areas of interest and make informed decisions on their journeys based on current traffic problems. Developed exclusively for O2 and i-mode, Trafficview enables i-mode users access the same high quality information as TrafficTV users.
