Brian joined mxData as Chairman in September 2011. He stepped down from Amazon.co.uk in January 2011 having previously held senior positions during a 25 year career in IBM, Dell Computers and T-Mobile where he was UK managing director. He has recently been appointed non-executive director of Monitise plc, a leading player in mobile payments, and is also a member of the Advisory Board of Numis PLC, London Stockbrokers and Investment Bankers.

Brian is Chairman of RemCo and Senior NED at Computacenter plc, is a Venture Partner (part-time) with Scottish Equity Partners, and is a trustee of In Kind Direct, a charity which redirects surplus products to the needy. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Celtic Football Club plc, SThree plc, and the British Retail Consortium and is a former chairman of Virgin Mobile.

Brian is 55 years old, married with two daughters and lives in Camberley, Surrey. He has an MA (Hons) in Economic History from the University of Glasgow.

David is the co-founder of mxData starting the company in 2004. David’s career spans over 18 years within the IT and mobile industries, with the six years prior to mxData operating a successful consultancy company working for many of the major companies within IT, telecommunications and telematics including Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Trafficmaster and with Microsoft at their headquarters in Redmond.

David’s passion for mobile technology extends back to 1998 when as a consultant at Ericsson he was involved in the development of the groundbreaking R380 one of the first ever Smart phones.

David's combination of commercial and technical knowledge within both the mobile and telematics industries have proved invaluable, with mxData being recently being recognized as the 4th fastest growing company in the North West by Crain's Manchester Business inaugural Fast 50 awards.

David lives in Cheshire with his wife and children and outside of work enjoys travelling, snowboarding and cycling.

Steven co-founded mxData with David in 2004 and has managed the finances of mxData since its inception enabling the business to grow rapidly to profitability.

Steven has worked within Chartered Accountancy practices for the last 12 years and has developed both an eye for detail and a forward thinking approach to managing business growth within fiscal boundaries.

In addition to running the finances of mxData Steven has also spun off his own management consultancy practice and sits on two other company boards.

The balance between vision and stability has been critical in making mxData successful and the current growth will continue under Steven’s model managerial and financial controls.

Outside of his working week in London Steve spends his weekends with his growing family and classic car in the Victorian seaside town of Clevedon.

Roger's early career was in the technology industry, encompassing senior technical, sales, marketing and general management roles with IBM, Pyramid Technology and EMC Corporation.

Roger was Chief Operating Officer of the technology merchant bank Interregnum plc, leading its flotation and capital raising on AIM in 2000. Roger has recently been appointed Professor of Management Practice in the Ashcroft International Business School of Anglia Ruskin University.

As well as being a Non-executive Director for mxData, he is also a director of Charborough Capital, a non-executive director of Keycom plc, and serves as an independent director of two fully-listed Venture Capital Trusts - the AIM distribution Trust plc (AMD.L) and Pennine AIM VCT 6 plc (PNEA.L).

Married with two daughters, his leisure time is dominated by an ageing rock band called The Fat Cats (www.the-fat-cats.com) for which he is manager and guitarist.
